Aiming to be a pioneer in the energy sector with next-generation steps, we have been conducting R&D activities on biofuel production from biomass (wood chips, forest residues, etc.) since 2012. As a result of these efforts, we are taking the final steps to commission a power plant capable of generating 1.2 MWe of electricity.

Eksim Energy, a company wholly owned by Eksim Holding that invests in renewable energy, continued its growth in 2022 with investments focused on wind and solar energy production.

Eksim Energy, which has prioritized renewable energy since the 2000s, obtained its first license in 2006 with the Black Sea HES project. The company, which obtained seven wind energy licenses in 2008 and 2011, has thus achieved a significant position in the sector.

Since 2010, our subsidiary Eksim Elektrik, which trades electricity both domestically and internationally, has been supplying clean energy to end users under the “Supply License” issued by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA). With its team of experts well-versed in electricity market regulations and dynamics, our company aims to provide free consumers with affordable, high-quality, and uninterrupted electricity supply. In addition to selling electricity to free consumers, the company also engages in energy trading through bilateral agreements.
